Singapore First Medal ... Congratulations!!!

After that long... we're finally looking at the long awaited medal -- be it silver or gold, which we will leave it to Sunday 17th Aug match and let things run it's natural course, Singaporeans now have something to be proud of, or at least happy for ... yups, it's the Women's Team Table Tennis Match I'm speaking of ...

To those who will say, ' But these gurls R also from China mah...', well, they represent us now, thats for certain, and Jiawei is already a Singaporean citizen, and is the closest to being one also since she has play for/train with us for the longest period of time since she was a young gurl... so be happy okay... we' all have to start with something somewhere along the line, foreign talent doesn't mean we've no talent, it just means we've more good ppl to better groom the generation down the line to create more Olympic contestants =)

The guys may be out but the women fought a well rounded victory, thought not without a couple of scares and leaving us audience to miss a beat in our hearts in between intervals and breaks ... well, its over and our girls (Jiawei, Yue Gu, Tianwei) have evntually take down Team South Korea and went on to the finals, a proud first since 1960, since our last year's close brush with the medal in the same sport (Jiawei lost the bronze medal and stood 4th in position) ... this means all we're now guarantee  silver medal at least, and we all have a pretty exciting show to watch on Sunday... Sg Vs. China ...

Once again, a very big Congratulations to Jiawei & team, U've done us proud ...

Good luck and bring em' on to the China team on Sunday...
